Sacraments of Christian Initiation - Confirmation

The Spirit who raised up Jesus makes other "Christs" of us: the confirmed one receives the gifts of the Spirit that rested on the Messiah.

Is 11:1-2

When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit ... then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.

Acts 8:14-15;17
